Missed call alert service can be beneficial for you if you do not want to miss any call. After activating missed call alert service, if your mobile phone is switched off, busy, or out of network coverage, an SMS will be sent to your number to make sure you are aware as soon as your phone is on or back in the coverage area. So, you can call back the number that was trying to call you, if you want.
All major companies including Jazz, Telenor, Zong, and Ufone have introduced missed call services for their customers. You can activate this service by just dialing the missed call alert code. However, all networks charge some amount for this service. You can also deactivate this service with the unsubscription code mentioned in this article.

How can you activate Jazz Missed Call Alerts?
MCA activation procedure if you are out of coverage area is as follows:
- Go to Menu, scroll down to Settings and press Select
- Press Call Settings, scroll to Call Divert and press Select
- Scroll to Divert if out of reach and press OK
- Select Activate, scroll To Other number and press Select
- Enter the number 142 and press OK
Missed Call Alert activation procedure if you do not have call waiting facility is as follows:
- Go to Menu, scroll down to Settings and press Select
- Press Call Settings, scroll to Call Divert and press Select
- Scroll to Divert if Busy and press OK
- Select Activate, scroll To Other number and press Select
- Enter the number 142 and press OK
After you receive a Missed Call Alert, an SMS containing: the number, date and time of the party that was trying to call you, the highlighted number will appear. Once you press the OK Button the call will be connected.
If the number is not highlighted, use the scroll keys to scroll down and once the number is highlighted, press the OK button to connect the call.
Jazz Alert My Caller
The Alert My Caller feature allows you to alert your callers once you are back on network along with getting a missed call notification on your number. No additional subscription charges are applicable for using or subscribing to this feature. (Source: Jazz)

Mechanism
- Missed Call Alert service will automatically be activated once user activates Alert My Caller feature
- Once user deactivates Alert my call feature, Missed Call Alert service will also be deactivated
- Missed Call Alerts facility will not be available while you are abroad and using roaming facility. Kindly make sure that you cancel your call forwarding before you leave Pakistan.
